The Allen-Bradley 1756-L73S GuardLogix 5570 is a high-performance Programmable Automation Controller designed to execute both standard and safety functions, with 8 MB of standard user memory, an additional 4 MB of safety memory, and 0.98 MB of I/O memory. An embedded USB port facilitates programming, configuration, and online editing, with support for up to 128,000 Discrete and 4,000 Analog I/O points. Featuring a unique capacitor-based energy storage module, the 1756-L73S eliminates the need for lithium batteries, and when paired with the 1756-L7SP safety partner, it is SIL 3 and PLe certified for high-level safety applications. This controller fits into any ControlLogix 1756 chassis slot, allowing for flexible installations and robust industrial network communications via ControlNet, DeviceNet, or Ethernet/IP networks. With advanced programming functions including Relay Ladder Logic and a front display for diagnostics, the 1756-L73S ensures efficient operation and secure data handling through its 1 GB pre-installed non-volatile SD card, expandable to 2 GB.
