The Allen-Bradley 1756-L7SP is a partner controller within the GuardLogix product family designed to seamlessly pair with primary GuardLogix Safety controllers, such as the 1756-L71S, 1756-L72S, and 1756-L73S models, in 1oo2 architectures achieving SIL 3 and PL e safety standards. This dual-slot-width module, requiring installation adjacent to the primary controller in a 1756 chassis, supports EtherNet/IP, DeviceNet, and ControlNet communications, with a current draw of 5 mA at 1.2 VDC and 800 mA at 5.1 VDC, and offers 30V isolation tested at 980V AC for one minute. Designed for up to 60°C operating temperatures and 5-95% non-condensing humidity, it dissipates 2.5W of heat with an 8.5 BTU/hr thermal dissipation rate and features robust shock and vibration resistance, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
