The Allen-Bradley 1756-LSP GuardLogix Safety Partner Module is an integral component for enhancing system safety, specifically designed to work alongside 1756-L61S, 1756-L62S, and 1756-L63S primary controllers to meet SIL 3 requirements. It functions as a redundant co-processor for executing isolated safety-related tasks, leveraging the user memory of its corresponding primary controller. With a compact design, the 1756-LSP maintains a current draw of 1200 mA at 5.1V DC and 14 mA at 24V DC, ensuring efficient power usage, and features an RS-232 port for configuration. Robust and reliable, this module operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 60°C and supports a shock rating of 30 g, making it suitable for demanding industrial environments.
