Description

The Allen-Bradley 1756-M08SEG is a robust SERCOS interface module designed for seamless integration with Extended Pack Profile compliant SERCOS interface drives, capable of supporting up to 32 axes in a single controller while allowing precise position mode control. With LED status indicators for efficient monitoring, this module supports two SERCOS data rates, 4 Mbps and 8 Mbps, facilitating cycle times ranging from 0.5 ms to 2 ms depending on drive configurations. It operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, features a backplane current of 760 mA at 5V DC, and requires fiber-optic cable connections compatible with Kinetix 6000 drives for optimal performance in ControlLogix chassis, including models 1756-A4 through 1756-A17, ensuring reliable and efficient operations.
