The Allen-Bradley 1756-OB16IS is a highly efficient ControLogix Output Module designed for use within the 1756 Chassis slot, featuring 16 individually isolated sinking/sourcing outputs with 8 of those being scheduled for precise timing. Operating with a contact rating of 2A (DC-13SQ) and a voltage range between 0-30V, it ensures rapid switching with a signal delay of 1ms from OFF to ON and 2ms from ON to OFF. The module supports robust industrial applications with a maximum power dissipation of 3.6W at 60°C, thermal dissipation of 12.28 BTU/hr, and offers high reliability with 250V isolation and basic-type insulation verified at 1350V AC. Its design accommodates demanding conditions, supporting up to 60°C ambient temperature, and is built to withstand operational vibrations of 2G and shocks up to 30G.
