Description
The Allen Bradley 1762-RTC is a Real Time Clock module designed for the MicroLogix 1200 series, providing reliable time and date information during operations. Easy to install and remove without risk of damage to the system, it seamlessly integrates with the controller, which checks for its presence at each startup and updates its RTC Function file accordingly. Accuracy depends on operating temperature, with a precision range from -133 to 79 seconds per month, and it rejects invalid time data, maintaining system integrity. Its internal battery is irreplaceable, so care should be taken to disable the unit if its not installed immediately to conserve power.
