The Allen-Bradley 1768-PB3 is a CompactLogix power supply providing efficient power management for 1768 and 1769 CompactLogix PAC platforms. Designed to deliver stable energy through the CompactLogix backplane and front panel terminal blocks, it can function as an external 24 Volt DC power source with an input voltage range of 16.8 to 31.2 Volts DC. This module demonstrates an impressive efficiency of 80% at 24 Volts DC, with a maximum power dissipation of 22 Watts and a solid ride-through time of 5 milliseconds at 90 Watts. The 1768-PB3 is safeguarded by a non-replaceable internal fuse, ensuring protection against overcurrent, while the robust design includes reinforced insulation tested to meet high-voltage standards. It is well-suited to operate in environments with temperatures ranging from 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, and its compact design eases integration into various automation systems.
