Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-ADN DeviceNet Adapter is engineered for seamless integration with CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 platforms, facilitating communication between simple industrial devices and high-level controllers via the robust Common Industrial Protocol (CIP). This adapter supports transmission speeds of 125 Kbps, 250 Kbps, and 500 Kbps, with an efficient range extending up to 500 meters depending on the speed. It boasts a current draw of up to 500 mA at 5 Volts DC and provides enhanced diagnostic features for improved fault detection and data collection. Designed for ease of installation on DIN rails or panels, it demands just one slot in a CompactLogix chassis and should be situated no more than four or five modules from the power supply to maintain system integrity.
