TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The Bulletin 1769 Compact I/O series includes the Allen-Bradley 1769-AENTR, a chassis-based input/output module. Users of this module may be able to lower their inventory of I/O spare components. This I/O module, distributed through the EtherNet/IP network, enables CompactLogix users to continue using the 1769 I/O system even after upgrading to the next series of CompactLogix controllers without compromising their initial 1769 I/O investment.

Owners of the 1769-AENTR can regulate on a single, flexible platform using the same input/output module. The 1769-AENTR is designed to simplify the operator's system architecture and save migration expenses. System extension without controller limitations, inventory reduction owing to a single standardized I/O platform, and enterprise connectivity utilizing a single network program released from the EtherNet/IP network are further benefits of using this I/O module.

Users of the 1769-AENTR can connect DLR or linear topologies using the device's dual Ethernet connections. It is a scalable control system that effectively fixes machinery and equipment manufacturers struggling with variable engine performance. Manufacturers may fulfill the requirements of an application with the 1769-AENTR while avoiding the need for several control platforms.

Users frequently consider aspects like scalability, sustainability, high performance, simplicity, security, and single network architecture when choosing the most suitable and affordable control system, which are included in the 1769-AENTR I/O module. The 1769-AENTR has a minimum communication port speed of about 10 Mbps and a maximum communication speed of up to 100 Mbps. This module operates best at temperatures between 0 °C and 60 °C.

The twin Ethernet interface of the 1769-AENTR supports several Ethernet topologies, including Liner, Star, and Device Level Ring (DLR). Control architecture, I/O expandability, inventory minimization, migration, and simplicity of connectivity to the enterprise level are among its primary design goals.

The 1769-AENTR can support 96 TCP/IP connections and 128 logical communications as a single slot-width module. It features a 50V dc isolation voltage and consumes 500 mA of current (continuous). It weighs around 280 g (0.61 pounds), and its dimensions are 118 mm x 50 mm x 87 mm (4.65 in. x 1.97 in. x 3.43 in.).

It may transmit messages from controllers and other HMI (Human Machine Interface) devices, such as the PanelView product line and SCADA systems. Depending on the controller version, the 1769-AENTR may be configured using either the RSLogix 5000 or the Studio 5000 Logix programming software.
