Description

The Allen-Bradley 1769-ASCII module is designed for seamless integration with 1769 CompactLogix and MicroLogix 1500 systems, offering two individually isolated ASCII ports for connectivity with devices utilizing the ASCII protocol, such as barcode readers. These ports can operate independently, supporting RS232/RS422 on Port 1 and RS485 on Port 2, while allowing for alternating or simultaneous communication modes. The compact module, with a power supply distance rating of up to four modules and no need for an external power source, integrates efficiently into your setup, offering robust performance within a wide operating temperature range of 0-60°C, accommodating storage between -40-85°C, and withstanding various environmental challenges.
