TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

The 1769-L16ER-BB1B CompactLogix 5370 L1 processor module by Allen-Bradley can work with up to four EtherNet nodes. The controller has two excellent pre-built communication ports that can ideally connect with the EtherNet network using one IP address. The integrated 1769-L16ER-BB1B module supports star, linear, and Device Level Ring topologies. Its DLR capability improves overall network resilience. Moreover, it can also read structured text, relay ladders, function blocks, and SFC programming languages. It employs version 20.1x of RSLinx Classic v2.59 Firmware or later, as well as version 20 of RSLogix 5000.

The DIN rail-mounted 1769-L16ER-BB1B supports 100 various programs for all 32 extensive periodic or continuous activities. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B controller by Allen-Bradley offers 24 Volts DC and has comprehensive inbuilt I/O modules with up to 16 multiple sourcing outputs and 16 different sinking input digital pins.

The controller accommodates up to six other 1734 POINT local expansion I/O modules. If you use an expansion module, you need to fit extra modules on the controller’s right side and be interconnected within the same system. The current draw of the integrated local expansion and I/O modules should not exceed the POINTbus which has a field power current of 3 Amps and a 1 Amp backplane current.

Rockwell Automation's programming software, RSLogix 5000, is used to program the 1769-L16ER-BB1B. This controller comes up with an extensive memory of 384 Kbytes and has a Secure Digital card, along with a 1 GB of memory capacity, which is used and essential for an allocation of non-volatile memory. You can expand the memory by inserting a non-volatile 2Gb memory card.

The 1769-L16ER-BB1B can handle up to 32 controller tasks. A total of 100 continuous programs can be specified for each task. This controller also has two built-in Ethernet communication that allows it to connect to star, linear, and Device Level Ring topologies.

The 1769-L16ER-BB1B includes 16 different 24VDC controller outputs and 16 different 24VDC input channels. This enables the controller to conduct process and machine automation and gets set up right out of the box. Furthermore, you can also increase the I/O points by adding up to 6 different 1734 Point I/O modules that can be installed locally.

The 1769-L16ER-BB1B CompactLogix controller enables programming in the exceptional modern IEC 61131-3 standard programming languages. Moreover, the application may be customized to match any control requirement by combining programming languages. This controller supports Structured Text, Relay Ladder, Sequential Function Chart programming, SFC, and Fn Block. The 1769-L16ER-BB1B has several specifications, such as a current draw of 1A @ 5VDC and a power dissipation of 11.5 W.
