TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS

Allen-Bradley 1769-L30ERMS is a Compact GuardLogix controller with PL (Performance Level) and SIL 3 (Safety Integrity Level 3) certifications. This controller's safety features are satisfactory for usage in most electronics applications. It also has built-in motion capabilities that support four axes of motion.

Standard CompactLogix I/O modules are suitable with the GuardLogix 1769-L30ERMS controller. It also has two Ethernet communication interfaces supporting device level ring (DLR), linear, and star topologies. Additionally, it provides a socket interface for users with devices incompatible with the Ethernet I/P application protocol and the Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) security protocol.

Additionally, the 1769-L30ERMS can detect duplicate IP addresses and communicate via unicast and multicast. The 1769-L30ERMS module can communicate with other PLCs, I/O systems, and Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs). The 1769-L30ERMS comes with dual Ethernet ports and can manage up to 16 Ethernet nodes.

As said by the standard of IEC-61131-3, this controller offers to program in any programming language or a different combination of different programming languages. This safety controller supports relay ladder diagrams, structured text, function blocks, and sequence function charts (SFCs).

This compact GuardLogix controller incorporates a memory allocation of 1MB for standard memory and 0.5MB for safety memory. Local installation of up to 8 micro I/O modules is possible. The programming software RSLogix 5000 or Studio 5000 1 Logix Design can configure this controller. Compatible versions of Studio 5000 are Studio 5000 version 28.00 and above and RSLinx Classic version 3.80 and above.

To effectively manage specific customer applications, the Allen-Bradley 1769-L30ERMS Controller is a dependable, affordable controller that is a part of a scalable and adaptable portfolio of industrial automation solutions based on the Micro GuardLogix platform. It can also run RSLinx Classic software versions in the Studio 5000 environment.

The 1769-L30ERMS controller can integrate with I/O modules, communication modules, and accessories in the same chassis. Once your application is on and running, the 1769-L30ERMS controller is ready to update and expand your system. It can accommodate up to eight local I/O expansion modules, and you must arrange I/O modules in a sequence next to one another.

The PLC system must be off to replace or support a module with this controller because it does not provide RIUP (Removal and Insertion Under Mains). When connecting with Ethernet devices such as RFID scanners, Modbus TCP/IP gadgets, and barcode readers that do not meet the EtherNet/IP criterion, the 1769-L30ERMS PLC module is used to control a plug interface.
