The Allen-Bradley 1769-L31 is a CompactLogix Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) designed for small to medium-scale applications. It features dual RS232 interfaces with channel 0 supporting DF1, DH-485, and ASCII protocols, while channel 1 supports DF1 and DH-485, both maintaining a transmission speed of up to 38.4 kbps. The unit includes 512 KB user memory, optional non-volatile memory via a CompactFlash card, and supports up to 16 local I/O modules, expandable across three banks, ensuring robust system adaptability. Its integration is streamlined with the presence of easily recognizable LED indicators for operation status, and it utilizes a 1747-BA replaceable battery to preserve user memory content. The 1769-L31 must be installed within four modules of the power supply and is compatible with DIN-rail or panel mounting, operating efficiently within an industrial temperature range and shock standards.
