The Allen-Bradley 1771-ACNR is a sophisticated Remote ControlNet I/O Adapter Module designed for the 1771 PLC-5 system, ensuring efficient communication between 1771 I/O modules and a ControlNet scanner port. Featuring high-speed data transfer at 5Mbps, diagnostic messaging, and redundant media ports for enhanced reliability, this module requires a ControlNet PLC-5 controller in a remote ControlNet chassis. It offers a Network Access Port for seamless programming and maintenance, operates on 1A at 5V DC with a power dissipation of 5W, and requires installation in the far-left slot of the I/O chassis, utilizing keying bands for precise module insertion. The BNC connector and Quad shield RG-6 coaxial cable support stable cable connections, while twin switch assemblies configure the module address. Additional features include an alphanumeric display, various indicators, and a Communication Reset Pushbutton for convenient troubleshooting and diagnostics.
