The Allen-Bradley 1771-AF PLC 5 Fiber Optic Converter Module efficiently transforms Twinax electrical signals to optical signals for seamless transmission over fiber-optic cables, ensuring that DH+ and remote I/O signals are free from interference. Designed to fit into a single slot of the 1771 I/O chassis, it operates with 600mA at 5V DC, dissipating 3W of heat. With a point-to-point configuration, it supports signal transmission over 6,500 feet using 100/140Vm fiber-optic cables and extends up to 43,000 feet with Twinax integration. Further, the 820nm optical wavelength module comes equipped with an SMA-905 connector and provides a reliable receiver sensitivity of -24dBm over 1m. Operating efficiently within 0-60°C, it also offers robust signal bandwidth with dependable transmission capabilities across varying distances.
