The Allen-Bradley 1771-AM2 is a dual-slot PLC chassis designed for the PLC5 series, providing cost-effective implementation of Distributed I/O architecture with an integral Remote I/O communication port. It features a 3 A-rated power supply for powering its hosted modules and supports I/O modules with 8, 16, and 32-point densities using either half-addressing or full-slot addressing. This chassis operates with selectable input voltages between 97-132V AC and 194-264V AC, includes module status indicators and a 1.5 Amp slow-blow fuse for protection, and supports a communication speed of up to 5.6 kbps. Designed for optimal operation within temperatures from 0-60°C and relative humidity levels of 5-95%, the 1771-AM2 is a robust choice for applications where I/O response time is flexible.
