The Allen-Bradley 1771-CX25 cable is a high-performance local input/output cable extending up to 25 meters, designed for connecting two chassis to facilitate swift I/O access in PLC-5 systems, including compatibility with the 1785-L60L and 1785-L40L processors. The 1785-L60L processor supports substantial data handling capabilities with 64 K words of user memory and can manage up to 81 I/O chassis, incorporating diverse communication options like RS-232, RS-423 serial ports, and multiple I/O/DH+ interfaces. Meanwhile, the 1785-L40L processor offers 48 K words of user memory and accommodates 61 I/O chassis, also equipped with versatile communication ports. This setup ensures efficient and rapid data processing within permissible distances, optimizing I/O scanning and access beyond the range of remote links.
