The Allen-Bradley 1771-DXPS is an advanced control coprocessor module designed for reliable and flexible communication within industrial systems. It features 7-bit even-parity reception and an ASCII display, enhancing operational interfaces. Equipped with two 25-pin, optically-isolated serial communication ports (COMM 2 and COMM 3), it supports RS-232C, -423, and -485 standards, ensuring versatile connectivity.
