The 1771-HR Resolver Excitation Module by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation is an integral component of the PLC 5 series, specifically designed for use with the IMC 120 system to provide essential Sine and Cosine signals for resolver feedback. It fits into the Allen-Bradley 1771 I/O chassis slot, operating with a 1771-PS7 power supply delivering 5, 15, and 24 Volts DC through the 1771-CAS Cable. With a sinusoid output amplitude of 7.42 Volts RMS and a Sine-Cosine matching amplitude of 0.3 percent, it ensures precise position feedback; additionally, it features a green LED indicator for power status and connects via a 1771-CAPR 12-foot cable to the termination panel. Its efficient design includes a backplane power consumption of 0.4 Watts, an output frequency of 2.5 kilohertz, and a robust capability to handle up to 80 Ohms inductive load within the current limits of 0.81 Amps minimum and 0.35 Amps maximum.
