The Allen-Bradley 1771-IAD is a robust discrete input module engineered for use within the 1771 PLC family. Designed to handle both AC and DC signals, it operates effectively with input voltages ranging from 79 to 138 VAC or VDC, and supports a frequency of 50/60 Hz. With sixteen input channels, it seamlessly integrates into various 1771 chassis, such as the 1771-A1B through A4B, including AM1 and AM2, offering flexible installation options. This module is ideal for interfacing a wide array of discrete devices including pushbuttons, switches, and auxiliary relay contacts, featuring a selectable signal delay that ensures accurate response times.
