The Allen-Bradley 1771-IB is a PLC 5 Digital DC Input Module designed to efficiently convert user device signals into logic levels compatible with the processor, controlling corresponding data table bits. Supporting source-switching devices and featuring 8 inputs within a 10-60V DC sink category, it offers an operating range of 10-27V DC, with typical signal delays of 12ms when on and 20ms when off. This module, noteworthy for its opto-electrical isolation and input filtering to mitigate electrical noise, includes 8 red status indicators and is installed in a 1771 I/O chassis with keying bands to ensure correct placement, delivering a maximum power dissipation of 5.7W and thermal dissipation of 19.3 BTU/hr.
