The Allen-Bradley 1771-ICD is a robust 20-60V DC input module designed for integration within 1771 PLC-5 systems, featuring a sink-type configuration with 16 inputs and a 250 mA backplane current load. It operates with a typical signal delay of 6 ms when activated and 20 ms when deactivated, making it suitable for use with source switching devices such as electro-mechanical transmitters and panel switching devices. Compatible with Series B of 1771 I/O chassis, this module is equipped with a 1.2 mA off-state current and easily installs with plastic tracks and a securing latch, ensuring efficient and reliable implementation in complex control systems.
