The Allen-Bradley 1771-IF01 is an intelligent analog input module from the PLC 5 series, designed to seamlessly bridge analog inputs with PLC processors using block transfer programming. It supports either 8 or 16 single-ended inputs with a voltage range of 1 to 5 Volts DC and a current range spanning 4 to 20 mA, 0 to 20 mA, and -20 to 20 mA, complemented by a 12-bit resolution for precise analog-to-digital conversions. Notable for its swift 8-millisecond channel update time, the module incorporates optoelectrical isolation and features an intuitive front panel with a green "RUN" and red "FAULT" indicator, ensuring reliable operation in diverse applications like flow metering, level, temperature, and pressure sensing.
