The Allen-Bradley 1771-IJC encoder/counter module integrates seamlessly with Allen-Bradley processors that utilize the 1771 I/O structure, making it ideal for processing input pulses from encoders, counters, and switches. It boasts a peak input pulse frequency detection capability of 50 kilohertz and provides two outputs for efficient data handling and decision-making. The module features dual programming methods, supporting both single-transfer and block transfer programming, and requires an external 5 Volts DC power supply delivered through the chassis backplane. With compatibility for cable lengths up to 40 feet, it efficiently processes logic signal levels above 2.4 Volts DC as true and below 0.6 Volts DC as false.
