The Allen-Bradley 1771-ISC is a versatile multiplexer input module designed for seamless integration within the 1771 series. Operating at an input voltage of 5V DC, this module efficiently manages distributed applications and provides the flexibility of Flex I/O modules. With a backplane current supply of 0.8A, it occupies a single slot, ensuring compatibility with various network configurations and termination options. The 1771-ISC auto-programs following data transfer, adapting its operation based on connected switches, and offers mode selection via On/Off switches. Its performance includes a typical scan time of 15.3 ms in normal mode, which improves to 5.1 ms in fast mode, and a stable signal delay profile for AC and DC inputs.
