The Allen Bradley 1771-KA is a PLC 2 Communication Adapter Module designed to extend the capabilities of PLC processors by enabling data exchange across a Data Highway Plus network. This module integrates individual PLC processors into a cohesive manufacturing network, capable of supporting up to 64 programmable devices and computers within a 10,000-foot range. With data communication rates optimized for various ports, including 57.6k baud for the data highway, and a power requirement of 5V DC at 1.2A, the 1771-KA connects seamlessly with compatible power supplies and operates reliably within specified industrial environmental conditions.
