The Allen-Bradley 1771-KX1 Interface Module is a versatile electronic module designed to serve as a unidirectional gateway between a data highway and the Fischer Controls PROVOX Instrumentation System. It can accommodate communication with up to eight programmable controllers, utilizing an RS-232-C port and the corresponding adapter cable for seamless connectivity. Supporting a communication rate range from 110 to 19,200 bits per second with the PCIU, and up to 56,000 bits per second with the data highway, it ensures efficient data transfer over considerable distances, with maximum ranges of up to 10,000 feet for the data highway trunk line. Its robust design operates within 0-60°C and supports a wide humidity range, making it a reliable choice for demanding industrial environments.
