The Allen-Bradley 1771-NA node adapter board is a remote I/O accessory designed to interface analog signals with PLC 3 and PLC 5 controllers, utilizing Rockwell Automations block transfer capabilities. It operates on 5 Volts DC and is suitable for use within an ambient temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius, at altitudes up to 1000 meters. Employing the RIO protocol, it supports baud rates of 57.5 and 115 kilobauds and integrates seamlessly into Bulletin 1395 drives, functioning as a remote I/O rack with PLC controllers. The board is equipped with two LED indicators for status monitoring, a red LED for processor faults, and a green LED for active communication. The boards static-sensitive nature requires careful handling during installation, and it connects to drives via a 60-pin ribbon cable in Port B of the 1395 host drive.
