The Allen-Bradley 1771-NIV is a high-resolution analog input module featuring eight input channels, compatible with various input signals such as ±5V or ±20mA with a resistor, offering a 16-bit resolution. It operates with PLC3 and PLC5 controllers and requires a 1771-series chassis, though it does not support PLC2 processors. This module includes a built-in A/D converter, utilizes Block Transfer instructions for data communication, and supports a calibration interval of one year. It offers robust features such as a 6-pole low-pass filter, high input impedance, and overvoltage protection up to 140V AC RMS. The module exhibits excellent signal accuracy with specified gain and offset drift characteristics and does not support hot-swapping, ensuring precise operation within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius.
