The Allen-Bradley 1771-NIVR is a high-resolution I/O module from the 1771-N family, designed for integration with PLC-3, PLC5-250, and PLC-5 controllers. It features four voltage/current inputs rated for ±5V (±20mA) and four RTD inputs with a range of 1-650 ohms. The module supports an input resolution of 168µV/bit and provides overvoltage protection rated at 140V AC RMS. For RTD inputs, it accommodates multiple RTD types with selectable ranges, delivering accurate measurement resolutions such as 0.03°C for Platinum RTDs. The unit operates effectively within a temperature range of 0 to 60°C, maintaining reliable performance with a maximum power dissipation of 6W and a backplane current draw of 1.2A at 5V.
