The Allen-Bradley 1771-OGC is a PLC 5 Transistor-Transistor Logic Output Module designed for use with the 1771 chassis, equipped with eight sourcing/sinking outputs suited for precise digital signal manipulation. It supports an operational output voltage range of 2 to 5.25V DC for High logic and between -0.2V DC and +0.8V DC for Low logic, with a current requirement of 20mA for sinking and 1mA for sourcing. Notable for its 1ms maximum signal delay, the module necessitates a separate 5V DC power source with a peak ripple of less than 50mV for TTL signal transmission and dissipates a maximum of 7.5 BTU/hr of heat during operation. Featuring 1500V AC circuit voltage isolation and CE, UL, and CSA certifications, it ensures robust performance across a temperature range of 32 to 140°F, accommodating a non-condensing humidity of 5-95% and further supporting field connections using a 14-gauge shielded wire.
