The Allen-Bradley 1771-OQC is a robust digital output module within the 1771 series, expertly crafted to manage the power state of DC-powered devices. Featuring 8 outputs organized into 4 groups, this module supports a voltage rating of 24 Volts DC with a tolerance from +10% to -15%, and handles modulated voltage peaks between 17 and 34 Volts DC. It is capable of a maximum output current of 2.25 Amps per output/group and 9 Amps per module, with surge current up to 4 Amps for 10 milliseconds. With a power dissipation of up to 19.1 Watts and thermal dissipation of 65.1 BTU per hour, the module operates efficiently under environmental conditions of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius and 5 to 95% relative humidity without condensation. Designed for indoor use, the module requires additional surge suppression devices when connected to inductive loads due to the absence of an external enclosure, although internal clamping diodes provide protection from high voltage transients.
