The Allen-Bradley 1771-OW16 is a robust electromechanical relay contact output module designed to handle various power applications with 16 independently isolated outputs, making it ideal for complex industrial environments. Compatible with a voltage range of 24-250VAC and 24-150VDC, it offers eight channels of normally open contacts and eight channels that are selectable between normally open or closed. Requiring the 1771 I/O chassis for operation, this module features a switching frequency of 1/3 Hertz at maximum load and an operate/release time of 10 milliseconds, with specific compatibility for half-slot and full-slot addressing in Allen-Bradley systems. It includes LED indicators for status monitoring and utilizes a resistor-capacitor network for minimizing EMI, ensuring reliable connections through the 1771-WN wiring arm and adequate protection against high inrush currents when used with external surge limiting devices.
