The Allen-Bradley 1771-P2 is a versatile auxiliary power supply module designed for PLC5 systems, suitable for powering a single 1771 chassis with either a communication adapter or Mini-PLC2 setups. It supports selectable operation between 120V AC and 220-240V AC with a minimum voltage of 92V for lower ranges and 184V for higher ranges. The supply provides a 5.1V DC output with a maximum current of 6.5A for energizing connected modules, with internal self-monitoring for overvoltage, overcurrent, and undervoltage protection. It features a slow-blow fuse for safety, utilizing a 1A fuse for 120V AC and a 0.5A for 220-240V AC operations. This module operates within a broad ambient temperature range of 32-140 degrees Celsius and isolates input power to equipment ground with high-grade isolation voltages, ensuring robust and reliable performance under varying conditions.
