The Allen-Bradley 1771-P6S is an auxiliary power supply designed for PLC-5 Programmable Controllers, featuring a nominal input voltage of 220V AC and capable of handling an input range from 194-264V AC RMS. It delivers an impressive backplane output current of 8 A at +5V DC, efficiently supplying 56W of real power and up to 89V A apparent power, with a maximum transformer load capacity of 140V A. This module occupies a single slot on the I/O chassis side plate, includes a 5-position terminal block, and can be configured for remote or local sensing, with the capability to be paired with another power supply using a 1771-CT paralleling cable for increased power output. Additionally, it safeguards data integrity by generating a shutdown signal if the AC line voltage drops below minimum levels, ensuring only valid data is retained in the memory upon voltage recovery.
