Description

The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation 1771-PD is a sophisticated PID intelligent control module engineered for effective management of closed-loop processes such as flow, temperature, level, and pH. Equipped with an Allen-Bradley 1771-WF wiring arm, it ensures seamless installation and supports advanced controls like cascade, feedforward, and scaling loop control. The module calculates and compares analog input and output variables using block transfers for programming and accommodates input-output ranges of 1 to 5 Volts DC or 4 to 20 milliamps. Notable features include detecting process input loss, direct or reverse acting control selection, PC-processor setpoint downloads, error dead band processing, and alarm setting for exceeded errors, all clearly communicated via dual-slot module indicators and a convenient write-on label for calibration tracking.
