Description
The Allen-Bradley 1771-QA Stepper Positioning Assembly is designed for advanced motion control applications, capable of managing up to three axes through its expandable architecture with the 1771-OJ Pulse Output Expander modules. It supports complex movement programming, including acceleration, deceleration, constant velocities, and final positions, with motions modifiable via pushbutton, thumbwheel switches, or a PC processor. Compatible with any Allen-Bradley programmable controller featuring block transfer instructions, the 1771-QA integrates features such as an E-STOP switch for immediate operation cessation, selectable operational modes, and a generous 999,999-pulse travel limit. Each I/O chassis accommodates one stepper controller and three expander modules using keying bands for correct module placement, ensuring robust communication with up to 40-foot cable allowances while maintaining operation reliability across a substantial temperature range.
