The Allen-Bradley 1771-TCM is a robust Temperature Control Module designed for precise thermal management through its eight individually isolated PID loops, compatible with a range of thermocouple types including B, E, J, K, R, S, and T. Operating across diverse temperature scales from -270 to 1800°C depending on the sensor type, this module offers features like thermocouple linearization to IPTS-standard and cold junction compensation. With support for both half and full slot addressing, it seamlessly integrates into 1771 I/O chassis and is compatible with PLC-3, PLC-5, and PLC-5/250 processors. The module is characterized by its high-resolution input, backplane current draw of 1.1A, and surge capacity, along with extensive isolation tested up to 1200V DC, ensuring reliable performance for industrious environments with a working temperature range of 0-60°C.
