The Allen-Bradley 1771-TCMR is a robust temperature control module specifically designed for resistance sensors, supporting 100 Ohm platinum (USA/European), 120 Ohm nickel, and 10 Ohm copper sensors. It is compatible with the 1771-ASB adapter in any I/O chassis slot and interfaces through the 1771-RTP-4 remote termination panel. Notable features include eight independent heat/cool control loops, auto-tuning PID functionality, 16-bit A/D conversion, and input open-circuit detection. Engineered for durability, it can withstand 1000 VDC continuous voltage between input channels and the backplane, and operates effectively within a temperature range of 0 to 60 degrees Celsius. With an input bandwidth of 9 Hertz and an update time of one second for all loops, the module ensures efficient and precise temperature management.
