The Allen-Bradley 1771-WD field wiring arm is designed for seamless integration with various digital contact and AC/DC input modules, including the 1771 series. This wiring arm facilitates module installation and removal without disconnecting wires by securely attaching to the pivot bar at the I/O chassis base, and swinging into position to lock with the module. Operators should ensure power removal before connection and use appropriate wire gauges to allow the cover to close, while respecting the terminals screw torque range of 7 to 9 pound-inches for optimal installation.
