The Allen-Bradley 1784-U2DHP cable is a robust USB to Data Highway Plus (DH+) interface, enabling seamless connection of computers to DH+ networks via a USB port, and facilitating communication with PLC-5 and SLC 5/04 processors. This industrial-grade cable ensures efficient data transfer with support for three communication rates (57.6, 115.2, and 230.4 Kbps) and boasts a sturdy design suitable for Overvoltage Category II applications at altitudes up to 2000 meters. Equipped with a 3-position communication rate switch and LED status indicators, the 1784-U2DHP requires a 5V DC power supply with 125 mA supply current, featuring automatic node address configuration and a unique COM port setup upon driver installation. Additionally, it offers IP 30 enclosure protection, operates efficiently within 0 to 55 degrees Celsius, and includes both USB and 8-pin DIN connections for versatile application, replacing the outdated 1784-PCMK adapter card and 1784-PCM6 cable.
