The Allen-Bradley 1788-EN2DNR Ethernet I/P to DeviceNet Linking Device is an advanced, externally mounted module featuring dual Ethernet ports and a single DeviceNet terminal, capable of serving as a CIP safety message bridge. It supports up to 32 Class 0 safety connections, 21 Class 1 connections, and 16 Class 3 connections, and boasts an integrated web server compatible with major web browsers. This IP20 rated unit is designed for extensive DeviceNet operations, enabling full master control over 63 slave devices, and supports various messaging protocols, ADR with 256 KB capacity, and quick connect functions, all configurable via RSNetworx for DeviceNet. Powered by a 24V DC supply, it operates within a temperature range of 0 to 60 °C and is optimal for indoor installation in flame-retardant enclosures, using specific wiring and cable types for reliable connections.
