The Allen Bradley 1794-ID2 is a versatile input/output module designed for high-speed pulse counting applications, featuring dual basic inputs that serve as pulse transmitter interfaces with four optocoupled inputs per counter. It supports high-speed calculations, positioning, and quantity counting, utilizing independent positive and negative inputs for handling both complementary and non-complementary signals. With an operating voltage of 12 to 24 Volts DC, the module is housed in an open style enclosure measuring 46 x 94 x 53 millimeters, and it includes 13 indicators for process monitoring. The 1794-ID2 seamlessly interfaces with external devices through an I/O adapter and offers both screw and DIN rail mounting options for ease of installation.
