The Allen-Bradley 1794-IR8 is a Flex I/O analog input module optimized for temperature applications, featuring eight RTD channels with an input range of 1 to 433 ohms. It supports various RTD sensors, including 100 Ohm Pt for both Euro and U.S. standards, Nickel, and Copper types, operating across a wide range of temperatures. With a 16-bit resolution and an accuracy of up to 0.01% full scale in enhanced mode, this module offers efficient data conversion to a 16-bit register and maintains a system throughput of up to 2.925s for eight channels. The 1794-IR8 operates with a maximum power dissipation of 3.0W at 31.2V DC, requires a FlexBus current of 20mA, and provides robust performance under varying operational conditions with its proven overvoltage capacity and isolation voltage standards.
