The 1794-IT8 Flex I/O analog input module by Allen-Bradley is designed for precise thermocouple and millivolt signal interfacing, featuring eight analog input channels compatible with various thermocouple types including J, K, E, R, N, S, B, C, T, and L, as well as a millivolt input range of ±76.5 mV. It supports direct communication with any Flex I/O adapter through block transfer operations, facilitating data exchange between its memory and the PLC data table. With a 16-bit input signal resolution, the module incorporates two cold junction compensators and can handle both grounded and ungrounded thermocouples, operating within a wide temperature range specific to each thermocouple type.
