The Allen-Bradley 2198-CAPMOD-1300 capacitor module, part of the Kinetix 5500 series, offers an additional 1360 µF capacitance for managing regenerative energy in systems where the internal shunt module capacity is exceeded. Compatible with DC power shared-bus configurations, this module can function independently or in conjunction with external shunt modules from the 2097 product line. It features "Zero Stacking" installation with dimensions matching the frame 2 drives, ensuring proper spacing and integration. Suitable for 200V and 400V drive systems, it requires a bonded cabinet ground bus connection using 12 AWG copper wire or a braided ground strap for secure grounding.
