The Allen-Bradley 2198-CAPMOD-DCBUS-IO Kinetix 5700 extension module is an integral accessory designed for seamless integration with Kinetix 5700 drive systems, facilitating connectivity with DC-bus power and regenerative bus supplies. Optimized for configurations requiring external bus currents over 104 amps, it can handle a maximum of 208 amps, supporting the expansion of DC-bus voltage across different inverter clusters. It includes essential components such as a stud/lug cover with integrated wires, hex nuts, spacers, a 55-millimeter DC bus link, and two flexible bus bars, ensuring robust installation. To maintain efficient cooling, ensure a clearance of at least 115 millimeters above and 100 millimeters below the module, vital for safe wiring and installation. Proper application of all shipped covers is crucial to prevent personal injury and machine damage.
