The Allen-Bradley 2711-B5A16L1 is a versatile PanelView 550 operator terminal designed for real-time machine and process control through user interaction via a 5.5-inch monochrome LCD screen featuring a 256 x 128 resolution. It is equipped with both touchscreen and keypad interfaces, allowing flexible input options and comprising numeric and navigation keys alongside programmable function keys. The terminal includes two RS232 communication ports, one supporting the DF1 protocol for device communication and the other for printing alarms or events. Externally powered by a 24VDC supply, it offers 170 KB of application runtime memory and supports features such as floating point files, a real-time clock, and ASCII input/display, all encased in a unit rated for indoor use within NEMA Type 12, 13, or 4X enclosures.
