The Allen-Bradley 2711-B6C12L1 operator interface terminal is engineered to optimize industrial operations by facilitating remote application supervision and management, thereby minimizing inventory and travel costs. It features both a keypad and a color active matrix TFT touchscreen, offering a resolution of 320 x 234 pixels and equipped with a field-replaceable backlight rated for 50,000 hours. The durable stainless steel domed membrane keypad includes 10 function keys and supports up to 2 million actuations. With a runtime memory of 190 KB and non-volatile memory of 240 KB, this terminal can be upgraded for additional capacity via an external memory card. It includes an RS-232 printer port operating at speeds up to 19,200 Kbps and runs on an input voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC, or 85 to 264 Volts AC. The unit, weighing approximately 2 kilograms, ensures efficient power usage with a consumption maximum of 34 Watts and 60 VA.
