The Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP is a PanelView Plus CE/PanelView Plus logical module that is functional for placement with Graphical Operating PanelView Plus 700-1500 CE & PanelView Plus 700 to 1500 interfaces. It doesn't include USB or RAM modules. Thus the user may have to buy those individually or use memory from the logic module of an already-existing PanelView Plus interface.

It is operated by an input supply voltage that ranges from 18 to 30 VDC, offering a nominal input voltage of 24 Volts. Installing RAM components such as the 2711P-RR256 256 MB SODIMM RAM, 2711P-RR128 128 MB SODIMM RAM, and 2711P-RR64 64 MB SODIMM RAM is functional with it.

Several internal compact flash cards are supported with this module, including the 2711P-RW1 64 MB internal CompactFlash having FactoryTalk View ME program, the 2711P-RW2 128 MB internal CompactFlash having FactoryTalk View ME program, the 2711P-RW3 256 MB internal CompactFlash having FactoryTalk View ME program, and the 2711P-RW6 128 MB internal CompactFlash having FactoryTalk View ME firmware for PanelView.

It houses the electronic circuitry, including the terminal power source circuit, network interfaces, and terminals processor, including integrated software programs like FactoryTalk Runtime for Machine Edition and Windows CE for PanelView Plus CE terminals. This module, which houses the electrical circuitry, must be installed with electrostatic discharge shielding because it cannot be done while the terminal is powered up.

It is a logic module ranging in power from 18 and 32 volts DC but with no flash memory or RAM. Its executable software edition is 6.0 and runs on Windows CE 6.0. Third-party support tools, ActiveX controls, an FTP server link, and a PDF viewer are the standard functions that are readily available. The MS Office program can be used with the Allen-Bradley 2711P-RP. Before changing the internal compact flash, ensure the module's components are compatible.
